London 2012 – Creative and Digital Opportunities
The time has come to win contracts for London 2012
Over the next few years, London 2012 and the public sector will require a wide range of creative services and your business could be one of those who will supply it. UK-wide projects in the Cultural Olympiad are already creating new contract opportunities and opening new horizons for creative and digital businesses.
Business Link and MediaTree are hosting a FREE workshop for local creative businesses in Kent, to find out from the experts more about the latest opportunities.
Caterina Loriggio, South East Creative Programmer for London 2012 will deliver the creative ‘Big Picture’ presentation. Caterina started working on London 2012 back in 2007 and is one of eight Creative Programmers across England whose role it is to take forward plans for an inspiring Cultural Olympiad.
Mike Roberts, Company Director at Kent based World Famous Fireworks will talk about his experiences of working with government projects. Mike is a certified workaholic who has been experimenting with the joys of black powder since 1994! Mike and his team explore new ways of working with fireworks, creating shows which blend pyrotechnics with performance and community involvement. Mike is sure to deliver a dynamic presentation!
Paul Toben & Mona Lewis, from Business Link’s South East 2012 Team will give you an insight into when and how to respond to some of the creative opportunities being listed on the CompeteFor portal and how the South East 2012 support workshop programme and other events may increase your chances of ‘Getting Involved’ in the delivery of the London 2012 Games, the Cultural Olympiad and all the related 2012 activities.
